In today’s training we will focus on strengthening the muscles of the upper body in a simple way, without the need to have a gym at home. To do this, we have carried out a routine of 9 different exercises with an elastic band. We do not use weight, we will only play with the elasticity of the rubber.
It should be noted that one of its greatest benefits is gaining joint mobility and developing muscle strength with non-mechanical movements, providing greater flexibility.
Another striking benefit is the lower risk of injury since the movement will always be controlled, relaunching it slowly and safely. Very versatile and with a great range of motion.
Muscles to work: Shoulder (anterior, middle and posterior deltoids), biceps, triceps, lats and trapezius.
The work mode will be 4 complete series, and instead of doing the exercises with repetitions, we will do it with time intervals (Tábata). Depending on your level, it will be as follows:
- Started: 20 ”of exercise / 20” of rest.
- Medium: 30 ”of exercise / 15” of rest.
- Advanced: 40 ”of exercise / 10” of rest.
We will rest 1 min at the end of each complete series.
To achieve a visible progression, it is advisable to repeat the training routine twice a week.
It is advisable to stretch the muscles involved at the end of the session.
